The opportunity Join EY Thailand’s Indirect Tax – Global Trade team and support clients in navigating increasingly complex customs, indirect tax and international trade requirements. You will work on engagements involving customs and import/export matters, trade regulations, compliance and risk considerations, while developing an understanding of clients’ business models and cross-border supply chains. EY’s Global Trade practice works across jurisdictions and brings together professionals from accounting, legal, government and industry backgrounds. Your key responsibilities • Conduct research and analysis on Thai customs, indirect tax and international trade regulations relevant to client transactions and business operations. • Support clients on import and export matters, including identifying customs and trade-related compliance requirements, risks and potential improvement opportunities. • Assist with customs duty and trade-related tax analysis, including available incentives, exemptions and other relevant trade considerations. • Review business transactions, supporting documents and data to identify potential customs and trade compliance risks. • Assist in assessing customs processes and supporting clients in strengthening their approach to customs and trade compliance. • Prepare technical analyses, reports, presentations and client correspondence on customs and international trade matters. • Collaborate with EY professionals in Thailand and other jurisdictions on cross-border trade issues and multinational client engagements. • Keep up to date with developments in customs, indirect tax and international trade regulations and assess their potential relevance to clients.

Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Law, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, International Business or another relevant discipline. • Consultant: Fresh graduates and candidates with relevant professional experience may be considered. • Senior Consultant: Relevant experience in customs, international trade, indirect tax, tax advisory, audit, legal/regulatory advisory or a related field would be advantageous. • Good command of written and spoken English. • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. • Prior exposure to customs, import/export, supply chain, taxation or regulatory work would be advantageous.
